it is really slow, especially when you are changing things as admin. Quit using it. Maybe good for a larger server, needing lots of resouces while running. The storage for database and files are huge too.

The first Chinese textbook for foreigners working in Shanghai and their families, “My Chinese Classroom” makes debut in Shanghai recently. Experts say the textbook fills the void in Chinese language teaching for expats in China.
Jane, wife of an expat working in Shanghai has spent more than one year in the city with her husband. The whole family feels comfortable living here. But they make little progress in learning Chinese although they have put much time on it. Jane told reporter many Chinese textbooks in bookstores are written for foreign students who study in China. A lot of them have gone out-of-date. Expressions used in 1950s and 1960s are still found in these textbooks, e.g. “Comrade, I’d like to buy a meal.” But as a matter of fact however standard and fluent the expressions are, no one speaks that way nowadays.¡¡ At present there are 440, 000 expats living in Shanghai. By 2010, the number is expected to grow to 1.5 mln. The need for a practical Chinese textbook appears crucial to make foreigners communicate in Chinese more quickly and conveniently. Beginning 2004, the Aimade publishing house began compiling a series of Chinese textbook for foreigners working in Shanghai and their families. The new book “My Chinese Classroom” makes debut following one year’s work. …… 3、研究资料的大力开拓和利用。首先是元曲资料。 遥继廖ｘúｎ＠①英1963研究关汉卿现存杂剧用韵之后，鲁国尧1990、1991研究白朴曲韵，忌浮1988研究元曲曲尾及曲尾上的入声字，黎新第1990、1991、1992研究属《中原音韵》“定格”的元杂剧各曲入韵字以及元曲末句、句末仄仄连出字，杨载武1991研究元散曲用韵，邓兴锋1995、1996、1997研究元大都杂剧用韵等，都已经初具规模。其中具有开拓意义的是，元曲的音韵研究已经不限于归纳其用韵情况以资比较，还特别注重借助曲律观察其舒声字和促声字在曲句中特定位置上的声调表现，以判断《中原音韵》的“入派三声”究竟是否与元杂剧的实际语言相符合。邓兴锋的研究不是依据作者而是依据特定地域，而且专就一些前此的研究未曾涉及的问题（如韵部关系、单字读音等）进行深入探讨，也是对元曲研究的进一步开拓。
其次是现代汉语方音资料。开拓和利用现代汉语方音资料研究《中原音韵》音系也已经初具规模。可资利用的此类资料不仅丰富多样，而且已用于研究的许多方面。例如李新魁1979以客家方言大埔话的情形作为《中原音韵》照系声母音值概为zh组的一个证据，刘俊一1980利用胶东方音论证《中原音韵》“入派三声”有实际语言基础，杨耐思1981利用河北赞皇、元氏方音、金有景1989利用山西襄垣方音拟测《中原音韵》入声状态，蒋希文1982利用江苏赣榆方音、张树铮1991利用山东寿光方音研究《中原音韵》知庄章三组声母的分合，宁继福1990借助高安方音论证《中原音韵》尚有疑母等，无不得到学界同人的重视。如果说，此前阶段的《中原音韵》音系研究中也并不是没有利用过方音材料，但无论是在运用的数量上还是运用的范围上都不能同本阶段相比。尤具特色的是，此前所利用的方音材料还大都是对通都大邑方音普查的成果，本阶段作为研究依据或证据的则往往是保存在偏僻地区的方音特征。方音材料往往也不是单纯引用别人成果而是作者亲自深入调查所得。
这一阶段祖国大陆地区的《中原音韵》音系研究也有如下不足之处。
1.研究仍有空缺。例如在《中原音韵》中独立的桓欢韵，在元代以前的北方方言及共同语资料中未见其独立，在元代以后的北方官话中也未见其独立，却又一直见于近代以来的南方官话：桓欢韵究竟反映不反映元代北方方言实际？又如侵寻、监咸、廉纤三韵是否在当时广大北方地区都还独立存在，也值得进一步研究。
2.深入了解元曲的语音面貌，对于《中原音韵》音系的研究有着十分重要的意义。但迄今为止，对元曲资料的发掘和利用仍显得很不充分。象廖ｘúｎ＠①英1963、鲁国尧1990、191和邓兴锋1995、1996、1997那样对元曲分作家、分地域的系统研究还只是刚刚开始。 与《中原音韵》有关的元曲单字读音的研究也还大有可为。
3.一些有重大争论的问题，如《中原音韵》所依据的语言中入声究竟是何面貌，《中原音韵》音系同现代北京音系究竟是否一脉相承，如此等等，虽然在本阶段都有不同程度的进展，成绩喜人，但也都还没有最终凿破混沌，而个别的研究甚至误入歧途。
这一阶段台湾地区发表的研究《中原音韵》音系的专著是李殿魁1977、王洁心1988。台湾、香港和海外发表的研究《中原音韵》音系的重要论文则有丁邦新1981、金周生1982、1984、1990、姚荣松1994a、b（台湾），廖ｘúｎ＠①英1983（香港），平山久雄1977（日本）。
